For a career in Private tuition you need to be educated to degree level and have a GCSE (or equivalent) in maths and English. However these requirements only tell part of the story. We are looking for driven, hard-working people who share our passion for education. Your personal qualities are far more important than your experience. Full training in Satchel will be given; you need to be prepared to develop as a person and continually improve your skills. You may not have changed denominators in fractions for a while, but you will be amazed at how quickly this comes back to you. You don’t need to be a teacher; you do need to be able to work with and inspire children of different ages, abilities and personalities.

AMONG THE SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A SATCHEL TUTOR ARE:
Communication: the ability to motivate children and inspire the trust of their families.
Organisation: the discipline to organise workload for children, run a home office and the administration required to manage a successful business.
Self motivated: although Satchel will provide you with full training and support, ultimately the success of your business will be down to you. You will need to work hard under your own initiative to run a Satchel franchise.
Team player: you must be able to work with us at Satchel Learning to continually improve our offering. We want to work with like minded people and grow our business together.
Enthusiastic: a positive, friendly attitude is essential.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO:
